Welcome to the Peruvian Inca Orchid Enthusiasts Club!

We are the AKC Parent Club for the Peruvian Inca Orchid.

The Peruvian Inca Orchid is also called the Peruvian Hairless Dog, Perro sin Pelo de Peru,
and Perro Peruano. The Peruvian Inca Orchid has also been known as the Viringo Dog. This PIOEC
encourages responsible breeding to promote the health and beauty of the breed according to the
breed standard. The PIOEC Standard accepts all three sizes and both the coated and hairless
varieties. We encourage owners to become active in a variety of AKC events. The PIOEC also
actively supports rescue and would like to see that every Peruvian Inca Orchid has a good home.

The PIOEC wants exhibitors, breeders and pet owners to feel equally welcome. We also
welcome potential PIO owners in our club so they may make an informed decision before
obtaining a dog. We welcome foreign members to help us build relationships and share
vital information. Juniors are also encouraged to join and become informed on this breed.
